This conference is a FREE event brings together a wide range of speakers to discuss the many challenges and opportunities in Embodied Intelligence research! It has been held online via ZOOM for the last 4 years and this year will be no different.
The conference registration will be closed on Friday 28 March and final confirmation emails will be sent to all conference delegates on Monday 31 March. However, just in case that some delegates may miss final conference instructions, we decided to publish those on the conference web-site as well. A conference ZOOM link is the same for all 3 days and it will be activated on Wed 2 April at 8:30am BST.

Masterclasses are a newly introduced feature at the EI conference, designed to facilitate focused group discussions with experts, offering participants an opportunity to engage deeply and learn from leaders in the field. There are 5 masterclasses this year:
| DAY 1: 2 April 2025 | TIME (BST) | THEME |
| MASTERCLASS I: Prof. Cecilia Laschi | 12:00 – 13:00 | Soft Robotics and Biorobotics |
| MASTERCLASS II: Prof. Josh Bongard | 17:00 – 18:30 | Nonlinear Dynamics and Reservoir Computing |
| DAY 2: 3 April 2025 | TIME (BST) | THEME |
| MASTERCLASS III: Prof. Kohei Nakajima | 12:00 – 13:00 | Evolutionary Computation and AI |
| MASTERCLASS IV: Dr. Josie Hughes | 17:00 – 18:30 | How to conduct EI research |
| DAY 3: 4 April 2025 | TIME (BST) | THEME |

Selected talks have been assigned to each masterclass based on participants’ interests and topic relevance. Each talk should be a 10-minute presentation, followed by a discussion with the masterclass host. There will be 3–6 talks per session, with the remaining time dedicated to discussions between the audience and the chair on the masterclass theme.
Masterclass presenters are expected to make a talk about their research and then will be able to discuss all the elements of their work with a MASTERCLASS chair.
Other conference attendees are free to join Masterclass break-out rooms and listen to the presentations. They should be able to ask questions at the masterclass lead discussions.

BREAK-OUT SESSIONS PRESENTATIONS: What to expect
Break-out talks are organised as brief discussions on a range of EI research topics. We would suggest that each talk should last no more than 7 minutes, followed by a short Q&A (3 min). In total, Break-out sessions last 1 hour at noon and 1.5 hours in the afternoon.
At the end of the session, speakers, participants, and the session chair/co-chair will have an opportunity to discuss key research topics identified under each theme.
The conference attendees are encouraged to join as many break-out sessions as possible as it will allow them to join many different conference discussions and voice their opinions on as many Embodied Intelligence topics as possible.
